International Stakes harnesses the thrills of horse racing to create a fantastic icebreaker for an evening event where your people can bet on their colleagues, rig the odds, nobble the runners and riders, and still lose their shirts!

No old video footage here - this is an interactive and physical challenge where the participants play the part of horse, riders and enthusiastic crowd.
The room is set with a six-lane racecourse. Beyond the finishing line are six positions where the ‘horsepower’ sit. Jockeys, complete with skills and crop, stand poised behind them. At the starting line stand the horses - magnificent wooden beasts that are connected with a cord to thick wooden reels held by the competitors beyond the finish line. At the sound of the starting gun the horses are off and the reels are wound frantically to move the horses along the track. The jockeys urge their mouths on, and the crowd shouts encouragement whilst live commentary adds to the frenzied excitement.

Each of the races comes from a different part of the world from the Grand National to the Melbourne Cup, Kentucky Derby and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Theming and music help create the atmosphere whilst Big Bad Bertie, the infamous bookie, sets the odds and takes the bets.

Team performance is judged by the amount of money made from the betting - so intelligence, strategy and tactics are the key to success. Win or lose, with International Stakes everyone is guaranteed a winning time.
