Initially working in groups and facilitated by talented percussionists and choreographers, the participants discover the sounds that can be produced from a range of urban instruments such as dustbin lids, industrial packaging, wheelie bins, drainpipes and yard brooms. Once they have mastered all the skills, the raw sounds and sights are moulded into a performance that will delight participants and audience alike.

Working against the clock, and with limited resources, it will take hard work, loads of teamwork and all the creative energy the group can muster to put on a memorable performance. Work gear such as high-vis jackets, gloves and hardhats are supplied to complete the visual effect.
